18 x 8.5 with 235/40 18 on stock evo8

Hey guys,

I just bought a set of 18 x 8.5 rims with a +35 offset. I am going to buy tires today and put them on. Need to know if this wheel and tire combo will rub or have any other problems.

Please advise.

thanks

there's an faq here about the tires and stuff, you can read about it and get a better idea of what tires to get. i don't wanna give you my opinion and end up being wrong about it.

I had the same set up on my 03 Evo8 and now on my 06 Evo9.18x8.8 with 235/40/18 lowered on Tein coilovers. No rubbing,no rolling of fenders either. You will be ok.

Try the tire size calculator. Best tool for checking this sort of thing. Been around for years.
