Comparable to stock.. For the stock rim size there is no tire close to the peformance level of the stock tires un less you want to run r compound.

Now with that said I'd say the falken RT-615. Personally I think they are junk but u get what you pay for. If it where me I'd try the 225/45/17 or 235/40/17 tires.

If you want to take a step up. I'd say the Yoka AD07, then the Bridgstone RE-01r, and the finally BFG KDs. In that order.

Below those the Falken RT-615, then Hankook RS2, and finally the Kumho MX.

Good Luck

+1 for the RT615s. I just put them on my car, and they have awesome grip. They suck in the wet, but that's why I got them now - it's going to be my summer tire. I already know they don't exactly last as long time, but I've always preferred performance over lifespan. I strongly agree with the previous posts about the tires being the most important part on the car.

The problem with your dilemma is that you're asking for a tire that has killer grip and lasts a LONG time for under $100 a tire. That doesn't really exist... Generally, the longer a tire lasts, the crappier it will grip. The stock Advans are pretty damn good and it's hard to beat them without spending close to a grand for a whole set. I had Bridgestone Pole Position S03s on a while ago, and these are great all around tires (wet and dry), but they're very expensive, and to be honest I think the RT615s feel much better in the dry. Anyhow, that's just my experience, thought I'd give some input. Good luck!

Trevor, the guy asking to spend less than 100 is not the same one who wanted close to stock performance.
