I really think our stockers are just awsome tires, but damn they are expensive.
My first choice would be to stick with the stockers, but I have different set of wheel and street tires for my DD. The Advans would be my track tires(In my case RA1's)
I recommend advans if you have the funds

Get 4 new tires dont get only two. Its an awd car and all tires should be replaced at the same time or your new tires should be shaved. Since Advan has such a low treadwear rating an you already have 8000 miles on them go with another brand and get 4 new tires. It also says so right in the manual.

If you have quite a good bit of tread left on your rear tires I would get the Advans up front & switch when you wear out that set. If you decide to get a full set PM me what you would be willing to sell the 2 rear tires for shipped to 30022.

You cannot compare an R-compound tire to a non-R-compound tire as the R-compound tire will prevail every time. The A046 is an R-compound tire whereas the RT-615 is not. I have used the RT-615s on two other cars that I have owned, and while it is a great tire it is not on the same level as any R-compound tire. Based on my understanding, the A046 is slightly less "competitive" than a A048 (which has been deemed as one of the best R-compound track tires out there) and was designed to give great traction at the track (autocrossing and road racing) while giving a fair amount of traction in wet terrains (the A048 is not a great wet terrain tire).
RT-615s are about the best non-R-compound tire you will find. Great for autocrossing and road racing. Not so great for wet terrain nor drag racing (stiff sidewall = no good for drag racing). So, IMHO the RT-615 is a step DOWN from a A046. No matter what terrain you are driving on it fails in comparison. A046s can be purchased from the dealership, but unless you live in a wet climate you might as well step up to a A048...or a RA-1 for that matter. Both tires are the elite when it comes to R-compounds for autocrossing and road racing. From what I've heard they perform well in drag racing (not as well as DRs of course).
