Corner balance question
So i got some coilovers, and am using some scales tomorrow. This is my question. I have read that you have to disconnect the sway bars. Is this true??
Also any procedures, tips or advice would be great.

Yes, you should, but it defeats the purpose if you dont have adjustable endlinks. Because once you perfectly corner balance the car, you'll then realize the holes in the bars dont line up with the endlinks. One you force them to line up, this preloads the bar and will screw up all of your hard earned corner weights.
If you do have adjustable endlinks, adjust them so the bolt can be installed by hand so the bar has no preload and no effect on your corner weights.

With non-adjustable endlinks, dont disconnect them, go straight to corner weights.
Make sure you have 1/2 tank and you are in the car for corner weights.
AND MAKE SURE ALL OF YOUR TIRES ARE AIRED UP TO HOT PSI!!!! At least 5pi over cold. Then corner weight. Under inflated tire will dramaticly alter corner weights.

alignment -> corner balance -> alignment
That's if you can be bothered. At least get the alignment close before the corner balance, and it won't be too far off.
Suraj, I got good news for you, gimme a minute.

Yup, agree with Andrew, to make sure its all right.
I guess Im just used to already being within the ballpark and just making small adjustments. A 1/2 turn on a spring perch is not going to effect alighnment but will on corner weights. And alighnment shouldnt change your corner weights.
So I take it back, corner weights then alighnment. Either way its check, check and check again.
