New Megan Racing Big Brake Kit

Hey whats going on guys, not too many people seem to like megan racing, But when we would hit up the tracks (Violent racing/Relentless Autosports) we Used Ap racing, Rotoras and Stoptech Big brake kits on our G35's and 350z's, And we tried out the Megans and they outperformed them all, as in terms of brake fade, and stopping power. I am not trying to convert everyone to Megan, just throwing out there Big brake kits. Front and rear calipers and rotors, with pads, and lines.

We would run identical our G35 with the Ap's for a whole session which was like 30-45 min and we would get brake fade from the Ap's towards the 3/4 mark, and the megans wouldn't at all. Not trashing on AP or any other companies just throwing it out there, that they just came out.

interesting.

Can you give the details on your AP setup?
i.e. Piston type, rotor type and size (and if you know what type of venting too)

Wow $3400 for a F/R brake kit. Pretty reasonable for sure, what kind of pad materials are they using ?

I wonder why you can only buy the Evo "Combination Kit"? Why not just the Front or the Rears? I would be more inclined to try out their Rear Kit since I already have a super nice StopTech Front BBK Set up. Interesting...

Are they making these kits themselves or are they just rebadged units? Also, are they manufactured in Japan or outsourced (China, Taiwan, etc.)? Thanks

You can get any Megan products through PPI.

I just talked to them and confirmed I can get just the front's or just the rear brake kits if you want.

That is the only color they offer. The AP's were the same size caliper, but rotors were drilled and slotted. They are AMAZING on the track and great on the street. They are made by Megan no rebadging.

it's hard to believe that megan can outperform AP, I've always thought what you paid is what you get, but not in Megan's case... but how can they make things so affordable and still outperform company like AP?

You know, it scared me enough when they got into the suspension game but this is just down right frightening...
