In my experience the RT615's aren't too bad in the rain but things do get a little interesting when you hit standing water at speed. Their tread pattern just isn't optimal for wet weather. The Bridgestone RE01R's and Advan Neovas are both comparable to the Falkens in dry performance but do much better in the wet. They come at a bit of a higher price though, especially the Advans.

The ACD won't make a huge difference unless you are really pushing it in the rain...like others have said, just slow down and take it easy, they will be fine.

If the ground is wet, you're okay. If there's any standing water at all, you're screwed. I grew up in Gainesville, so I know exactly what type of rain You're pretty much stuck going slower than 45mph when it rains in Florida.

Like other's mentioned.. just drive slower. There's really no need to go 80mph, even w/ all-seasons or wet tire.
It won't help if your tires are bald either
