Tire rubbing - alignment or LCA bushings?

I have a set of 265/35R18 ContiSportContact3 on Axis Reverbs, 18x9.5, +40 ET, 8 mm spacers for the front. JIC coilovers from RRE. Front tires rub on the fender liners only when hitting a bump while cornering hard. Left side rubs mainly on the back of the fender liners while the right side rubs mainly on the front of the fender liners. I looked at trimming the fender liner, but the rear part of the fender liner is covering a metal seam.

Anybody with similar issues?

ALIGNMENT:
I only aligned the car by tape measure, so I have not set the caster. I am thinking about taking the car to an alignment shop and maybe playing with caster to get rid of the tire rubbing. Since left side is rubbing on the rear and right side on the front, caster could help.

LCA bushings:
When the car hits a bump, the tire moves back and up. I'm wondering if stock bushings maybe allowing too much movement. Anybody try replacing LCA bushings with poly to get rid of tire rubbing?

to my understanding, our car's caster is not adjustable.
If you find a way to adjust caster, please let me know.

Yeah, Caster is not adjustable unless you have camber/caster plates. You can adjust camber if your rubbing on your fenders or have them rolled. But if its the inside fender liners I don't think there's much to do. Try spacing the rim out more, but beware of wheel bearings wearing out.

quick question, did you track your car or hit a pot hole recently? if you did, you might want to bring it to an alingment shop. not just an alignment shop but a race shop that does a manual alignment. i had the same issue in one of my cars and they were able to center it out.

The previous owner of the car tracked it quite a bit. Too bad there's no caster adjustment. azul gsr: How did the race shop center the wheel, do you know?
