mismatched tire/wheel
so at the track lastnight in a freak occurance i ran over a screwdriver and blew out my drivers rear tire. I dont have a spare tire so in order to get home i had to find somone with a 17" wheel i could fit so i could drive the 10 miles home. So i ended up finding a buddy with some knock off motegi MR-7's so i took two of them for the rear and kept my stock up front to even out the tire size differnce as much as possable. So come to find out today after making it home with the two borrowed wheels that the tire that blew out is not repairable and needs to be replaced. So with that in mind i need to drive to work monday but i wont have the new tires on by then. Is it safe to continue driving the way it is right now or is there too much of a differnce in tire sizes? front two tires are 235/45/17 and the rears (borrowed) are 215/45/17. I dont have the cash right now to get two new tires to match up to the rest but the two fronts were new and the rears were almost bald anyway.

Ouch... that's a pretty big difference.
In a mile, the fronts will turn 796.3 times while the rears will only turn 819.2 times. You are forcing your diff to take up about 23 turns a mile. Eeek
