Stock metal shim corret position

Hi guys,

I just had my front brake pads replaced at Mitsubishi. During the install process the mechanic put the stock metal shims with the arrow to the up side, whatch direction. Is it correct?

Thanks

It should be pointing towards the front end of the car.

The arrow can be clock wise or counter clock wise direction.

Direction of the arrow is the same as forward rotation of the disks -on all four wheels.

you are right, I confirmed it at the workshop manual. The arrow must be floor oriented(front), or tire/disk forward rotation.

Unfortunately the mechanic put on the wrong side. Will it cause some kind of brake problem?
