Should suffice for everyday driving. If you're running the stock sized rim, you might as well go 255's to make up for the lost of grip.

I ran 235/47/17 N3000's for a short period of time because my Evo IX came with them when I bought it. The tires are smooth, quiet, ride well, and are great in the wet. The grip just isn't there, however. I couldn't deal the squealing around corners, so I got a set of Evo VIII wheels with used Advans and couldn't be happier (for now, ha!). I've seen Nexen N3000's new on eBay for as little as $65 in our stock size. If you just need an around town or freeway tire and can't spend more, they will be fine. If you need cornering grip and have the money to burn, look elsewhere.

I hope this helps.

Are those the same as the Lexani N3000? Thats what came with my new rims. They seem like good tires. They don't grip as much as the stock ones, but for the deal I got they seem like good value.

I just did a quick google search and I saw them listed several places as "Nexen/Lexani" and the tread pattern is the same. My guess is that they are indeed the same. w3rd.
