I picked up a set of 17x9 5zigen FN01-RC for track tires and I'm impressive with how well they fit (no spacers needed, no fender rolling etc) I have 255 nitto NT01s mounted but they fit so vertically that I wouldn't hesitate to go 275 next time.

My goal was the cheapest / lightest wheel, I honestly didn't care what they looked like, but I do like how they looked in the end.

I want to say I paid like $9xx shipped but this was with the $100 deal that discount tires direct had a while back.

If you want STRONG and lightweight and larger than OEM fitment, go with 17X9 Volk CE28Ns.

I had a set when I went sideways over a curb. The front right wheel took the brunt of the hit. The wheel only bent in and I was able to drive 200miles home on the wheel just like that without so much a wobble.

I saw a thread where they were weighed on a shipping scale and they are actually under 18 lbs, within 1/2 lb of the MR's BBS.. even tho they are 1" bigger diameter and 1.5" wider and not even forged! I put RE01s on the Enkeis which are about 7+ lbs lighter per tire than Falken RT615s and have better grip- got them for $900 (buy 3 get 1 free from my work ) So total spent was about $2100 (unless I end up having to do any fender rolling) and now I have a nice winter set and a nice summer set, both weigh about the same and price was a major factor- Overall wheel/tire combo weight is similar to stockers... I put snow tires on my BBS...
Lets see em' post some pics.

I just got a set of RPF1'S too and love them. I am thinking about getting another set but bigger, and hey the AMS Track Attack car uses them.

I will try the KOSEIs next season for drag racing probably along with BFGs...

My research until now...

Stock 17x8 EVO IX Enkeis with stock Advans: 45 lbs (20 lbs rims / 25 lbs tires)

My 18x8.5 Gram Light Optimise with 245/40-18 Falken RT-615: 46.5 lbs (18.1 lbs wheels / 28.4 lbs tires)

KOSEI K1-TS 17x8 with BFG T/A Drag Radials 225/45-17: 38.5 lbs (15.5 lbs wheels / 23 lbs tires)

Thats 6.5 lbs per tires (rotating mass) and 26 lbs in total from the car...

If i decide and sell my Gram Lights i will sell them to get Motegi Racing Traklite 2s for drag racing which are forged, weight 14.5 per wheel and they are not crazy expensive... If i dont sell them the Falkens are DEFINITELY OUT because they are TOO HEAVY for my liking... probably i will go with either the Kumho MXs (235/40-18 which weights 24 lbs....4.3 lbs per tire) or if i decide to spare no expense with the Pirelli P Zero Corsa 235-40-18 which weight a feather 22 lbs...6.3 lbs per tire less but 120 dollars more per tire!!!)

However best value hands downs are the KOSEIS... got them for 219 from tirerack...!!!
