True, I have them on my car now, but I hate them under tight cornering because of the soft sidewalls and the price tag it carries isn't all that great either....

Glad to see them in a 265/35/18. I wish they'd also make a 285/30 though.

Yeah, one of my buddies has a 240, that he auto-xs and he loves the RE01Rs

I'm just waiting to see someone try these out and see if they'll be as good or better, or worse lol

Agreed. It's hard to beat the RE-01R. From first glance, I think it;s still Bridgestone's game.

I'd hold off until some reviews come in. I had some T1S's back in the day and the sidewalls were like jello. I heard that was also the issue with the T1R. Soft sidewalls suck for quick transistions. I hated those tires so much I burned them up as fast as I could and went back to Bridgestones.

R1R looks to be like another Falken RT615, which is a great street tire and autocross tire, but who are they kidding for heavier AWD cars? My 615's butter up before I can even finish a lap. I hope these hold up better!
