Will I rub wth Enkei RPF1s in 18x9.5 on 255/35/18 RE01s?

First off, let me just say that I have been searching for the answer for a few days without finding a clear answer, so if anyone knows the answer or knows a good link for me to read I would appreciate the help!!!
*I ordered a set of Enkei RPF1's in 18x9.5 +38 with 20mm front spacers.
My current suspension are bilstein MR shocks with Works lowering springs (1.2"in front and 0.9" in rear)... No negative camber, as I dont have any way of adjusting it.
The tires I ordered to come mounted on them are Bridgestone RE01's in 255/35/18... Hopefully I ordered the tires in a size that wont rub, because if they do and i have to roll the fenders I would have gone with 265/35/18's instead!
Everything I read before ordering them said i should be ok with 255/35/18's, but the last few days I have read conflicting things- Some rub and some dont with 255's on a 18x9.5 rim, but really depends on their camber, tire brand, offset, lowered vs. stock height, springs vs. coilovers, etc...
So, any guess to whether or not I'll rub??? I'll post pics and results once they get here, hopefully good news!!! Thanks in advance for any help and insight!!!

I think you will rub especially since you don't have any negative camber. wonder how much will the rim stick out upfront with 20mm spacer. Also what is the spring rate on Works. ?

Damn.. Not sure on spring rate... I'll have to look that up- I remember that its 15-20% stiffer than stock

stockers are very soft. with such large wheels you may want to have harder suspension, to keep things from rubbing. This will be a tough fit. Probably won't turn out too good.

You may not rub the outer fender...but you may rub the inner fender lining.

And, you can adjust the camber on your stock suspension. There are two bolts that attach the strut assembly at the knuckle joint. The top bolt has an arrow on it. If you face the arrow "in" (towards the engine) you get -1* of camber. If you face it "out" (towards sheet metal) you get -2* of camber. I think the arrow comes stock facing the engine. Install the tires and rims the way they are and then adjust the bolts to face "out" if you have rubbing. It might help.

Thanks! Good idea!
I am less worried about rubbing with my wheel turned all the way... more just worried about rubbing while I'm driving or cornering hard...

Make sure you have a breaker bar to get those bolts loose. They are 19MM and a ***** to break loose! And, then you'll need to torque them back to spec. I believe 123 ft-lbs.

I think if you max out the negative camber in the front (about -2 degrees) you won't have any issues in front, except with the inner fender liner at close to full lock. In the rear, I think you will need to roll the fender lips unless you have a fair amount of negative camber. It will be close.

FWIW, I have 18x9.5s +27s (12mm front spacers) with 265 35 18s on a lowered car.

Thanks EVO8LTW-
I'm thinking it will be close in the rear too... I know there have been people running FN01R-C's in a 18x9.5 with RT615's in 255/35/18 that say they have no rubbing in back, and thats a +35 offset (I think), so I'm thinking that unless the RE01's are a lot wider than the Falkens, it will be either a really close fit or I'll rub slightly...

Any of you guys running negative camber- how much life will I get out of my tires compared to zero degrees of camber if I have to run -2? Think I'll only get about half the life out of them wearing the inner side of the tire?

well you will have -2, or -3 camber in the front. In the back you will probably have -1 to -1.5. Either way, if you daily your car tires will wear out faster.

In the rear you may need some light fender rolling, but your main concern is the Front. Fitting wide tires is never easy on the Evo, but once everything is modified, and you are running with no problems, it is SO worth it.

I had to rent rolling fender tool twice. First to roll rear. Didn't think front needed. THen after 1st autoX, realized front has to be rolled as well, so I rented again. Now I decided to buy the tool, just incase, as well as to make some extra $ by rolling peoples cars.

You will bust your *** , but in the end you will be happy. Don't give up
