SWIFT Springs or BC/Megan Coilovers
I was wondering which would be better for my set-up and useage. I have my mods in my sig, around 390 awhp. I mainly drive this car as a daily driver, with very occasional drag racing. I want a set-up that will help my car come off the line better and not get as loose! But mainly its a dd and I want it to look better and be lower.
So, for the price would I be better off to go with the Swift springs?
Thanks!

So are you happy with your swift springs? I have heard alot of good things about them, I just dont want to get them and in 3xxx miles, blow out my struts and have to buy new ones. So if anyone has them with stock 8 struts, has it effected them at all? Any problems with killing your struts? I know they designed them for the stock struts, but alot of companies say their springs will work with the stock wet-up, but then blow your struts out a thousand miles later!
Thanks!
Thanks!

actually i just ordered mine a while ago.. but i heard so many positive comments about the swift springs thats why i decided to get them. my friend have them on his evo, it rides smooth and i think better than stock. lets wait for other people's opinion.

Swifts work very well with the stock dampers. You won't have any problems 'blowing out your struts' with them so no worries there. Make sure to get the non-MR ones if/when you order if that's what you got.
Any coilover, even the cheaper one's, will give you more adjustment capabilities, but doesn't sound like you're needing that.

I was in a similar dilemma when I bought my IX. I wanted to be able to track my car, but it's also my daily driver. I looked at Swift springs and BC Racing coilovers. I decided the BC coilovers were right for me since I wanted more adjustability. I bought them for $900 shipped and then sold my stock struts/springs (with 4,000 miles) for $500. So, I really only paid $400 for my coilovers and I installed them myself (very easy to do). If I had bought the Swifts for $250-300, then paid for the install I would have spent more than the $400 I paid for the coilovers. Something to think about. Worked out for me.

Well, I think I could at least help with my opinion, being I've used both setups.
I previously ran the swifts for about 5k miles. Loved every minute of them, although they were a bit "soft" for my tastes. They did ride smother than the stock springs IMO.
I blew out my front passenger side strut recently and went with the BC racing coilovers. Best decision I've made yet. They're stiffer than the stock setup, but by no means harsh. Plus the adjustability of the dampeners is priceless. Especially when it gets cold as hell up here, I dial them down low so it's not so rough during the winter.
PS, by no means am I saying the swifts are the reasoning my strut blew. I'm sure it sped up the process compared to the stock springs, but my car now has 58,000 (when the strut blew) miles on it. The strut must have failed internally, because there was no fluid leaking from it.

Swift has a great deal of information on their website. Here's a link to some of it.
