I'm running with the k-sport right now and the car handled much better than stocks. Although its not as good as the HKS hypermax II, you might want to consider this setup if you're looking for the bang of the buck coilovers

 

megan or bc hands down.

IF i had to chose b/w the two I would chose megan.

 

My roomate has the megan racing coilovers and they are awesome. Handles way better then stock and its an MR>

 

I say BC Racing BR-Type. I bought mine from IMPORTIMAGE (a vendor on here). BC actually manufactures the coilovers for Megan. The BC coilovers are small notch above the Megans. I have them on my car and for $900 they are fantastic for a daily driver with the occassional track event or very spirited mountain road driving.

 

I recommend the BC Racing BR type. I have been running them on my evo for some time now, and haven't had any issues.

Why not go with d2 coilovers. You can have them set to any damper. For like 1100.
