Rota P45R +15 Front Offset
I am thinking about running my P45R with KICS (or similar) spacers with built-in studs. 15mm thickness is what I'm shooting for. Anybody know if the overall +15 offset would still clear the stock fenders with the 18x9.5 wheels and 255/40 tires? Maybe I should just run the 10mm spacers just to be safe (have non-hubcentric 8mm right now) or buy some Varis widebody fenders sooner rather than later Varis because I already have the fender covers which I was orginally planning to mod to attach to the stock fenders.
I would prefer to stick to stock fenders if possible and run +15 and futureproof this setup and still be able to run 265/30 tires by rolling the front fenders if I have to.
Quick Specs
Wheels :: Rota P45R's, 18x9.5 +30 offset (8mm front spacers, rolled rears)
Tire :: Falken Azenis RT615, 255/40
Suspension :: JIC Magic FLT-A2 on 8k/7k springs
Camber :: -2.0F/-1.5R
Pic of the car with on JIC FLT-A2 coilovers for reference. Car has since been raised since I was rubbing at full lock in the front and bottoming out in the rear on quick dips.

Running 255's you'd be rubbing a bit at +20 offset... unless you run some aggressive camber. Camber is your friend!
I think you're car looks good as it sits...
I'm running 18x9.5 +12 - hard cornering there is slight rubbing on the fender lining
Oh I'm running 235/40/18 with 3 degrees of camber up front.
Did you say you're bottoming out on the rear?!!!?!!!! - please explain - you sure it's not just hitting the rear bumper tabs under compression?
I had to cut mine off because of that.

Sorry, I meant the rear was hitting the outside edge of the fender. I didn't roll them nearly as far out as I thought. I know for a fact that I can run +20mm on 255/40 without an issue as I am currently running +22mm with no issue. I'm just wondering if I could go a little more aggressive and go with a 15mm spacer for a +15 offset without rubbing either on my current 255/40 or the 265/35 I anticipate going with after this set.
If you're running +12 with 235/40, I might be cutting it too close with my setup to go +15 on 255/40 even with slightly more camber. I guess your setup kind of answered my question and that I should play it safe and just stick with 10mm spacers.
If you're rubbing at full lock like I did, I would do the following: remove the fender lining and bang the sh$t out of the metal tab protruding from the rear of the fender well. I did it to mine to flatten it out and no more rubbing!

I have 265's with 10mm spacers (on P45R's +30) and they rub in front - I am running -2.5* up front and they are starting to rub the outer lip a little and the fender liners. I'm thinking of shaving the spacer's down a couple mm.

yes, at full lock it does rub on the fender liner.
On the rears...I pulled it about 5mm with a roll.
The rear bumper tab was rubbing, so I cut that off, and now it's perfect.
Super flush with no rubbing even under hard compression.

I'm currently running 17x9 + 22 RE30's with 255/40ZR17 Proxes R888's (The R888's run about 10mm wider than what's rated) As a result there's a slight rub out back given the offset i'm running. So rolling the rear is a must. Fronts, are not a problem.

Exactly the owner I was hoping to respond! But this doesn't prove that 15mm can't be run. I only rub the outer lip of the tire at full lock. I never rubbed when taking vertical bumps.

18x9.5 +15 will sit just fine with the front fenders w/ slight camber -2 or -2.5
if you plan on adding spacers up front, i suggest go with 15mm. You have more clearance between the wheel spokes and the caliper. Also remember to replace the old wheels studs for some extended ones tho (ARP makes them).
you can also check the aggressive wheel fitment thread. I post some pix of a black evo w/ RPF1 18x9.5 +15 (repost).
and like the guys above mentioned, just remove the fender lining if you experience rubbing issues at full lock at the front wheels.. you don't need that crap under there anyway.
good luck!!

Wow Speed Element thanks for the info! coming from you that means a lot . Will look into that thread as well. Do you happen to know what tires were being on the RPF1 wheels?
EDIT: I found out you are running wide fenders in the front. I'm trying not to go that route and stick with stock fenders all around. Even with rolling the fronts, 10mm spacers still seem the way to go. BTW, can't seem to locate that thread.
