Max Tire Size

What's the recommended max tire size for a 18x8.5?

I'm sure you can squeeze 265 tread on there. People put 255's on the stock 17x8. Personally I have 255 on a 9" rim. I wouldn't go much more than 255 on 18x8.5.

Nice. Which tires do you guys recommend? Trying to keep it inexpensive.. but hey, if I have to cough up cash.. thats the name of the game.
