Advice on bushing press

I need to install a bunch of bushings, and I plan on doing it myself. I need to buy a bushing press, prefer something cheap hand tool type thing, not looking for a full on 12,000lb press and all that lol. Anyone have any ideas, with links would be great, of what I need to buy? Wont be using this often, so just trying to stay kind of cheap. Thought about the c-clamp option but was looking for something a bit better then that haha.

c clamps are really tough... we used a old socket an pressure/hammer to do control arm bushings on my srt. It took along time.... there is I say no real nice way to go about it.
once I got those done I had someone do the remainder of my bushings... between burning them out and an hour fighting with them to go into place there was no way I was going to do the rest.

Don't bother with the C-clamp, cutting/burning, etc... A small, but capable press makes things so much easier. WORKS even offers to press the bushings out/in for the locals that carry in their own control arms. I would imagine a shop near you could do the same.

The shops I have used all charged..nice service though, maybe I went to the wrong ones.. as for a press, I have done bushings myself on a number of cars...the time spend working without a press makes for an all day ordeal and an f'd up part that needed the extra pressure to do it rt..I have a 12k press was roughly 100 bucks shipped, best investment I have made, I would have spent 2x as much as least on one job if I had to bring it to a shop and thats not counting down time etc..just get the press..try northern tools..

I would buy a real press if I planned to do this more, but I justy really dont nor have the garage space for it. Thats why I was hopeing for some sort of hand tool

We may end up just doing the cutting method, which will suck lol.
