These will run you about $800. They are awesome street coil overs. They are not for super aggressive driving. They will help performance. You must remember. Comfort and performance do not play well together. You can have a lot of one and a little of the other, but never equal.

So ask for a good and streetable coilover, and you'll get 10 different answers with each person swearing up and down that their choices are the best for you. How do they know that? Better yet, how do YOU know that? You don't, and you sure as heck won't find out by asking vague questions like this.

My pointer: Tell people what you plan on doing with the car, what your budget is, what you've used in the past for comparison and what is more important - ride comfort or actual performance.
Dude you took the words right out of my mouth...glad I read thru before replying.

Tien:

What I have experience with is the stock MR bilsteins, Zeal function XS, and KWV3's. The stockers are good coilovers, but would definitely need springs to make them workable for HPDE's. The Zeals so far feel great on 10k springs, but they lack the adjustability and travel that the KW's have. The latter two are priced in the 2k range. To me that's about where a solid set of coilovers will start with pricing (all things considered).

Best bang for your buck? I hear that a lot with the Megan track's. Though I've not ridden on them.

If I was to set up my Evo for drifting, I would have to consider the Tein "Drift Spec Side Way Master Super Drift" coilovers. http://www.tein.com/products/super_drift.html

But I'm running Robispec'd KW V3s instead for street/track use. http://robispec.com/
