Hey Charlie, we have to talk tires one day. Jacob always tells me to get RT-615s. ^^^^ I agree with Warrtalon, the RE-01R would be better for the street if you don't track your car. The RE-01R offer way better hydroplaning resistance, Cost less, and give you the same performance in a typical "Street" environment. If you drive hard enough to need R-comps, then you should be tracking your car.

245/40 RE-01Rs were $146 last I checked. You're saying the 255 is $206? I didn't even know they had a 255/40...
Edit: Yeah, they have a 255/40-17 now, and it's WAYYYYYYYYYY more expensive than the 245/40 for some reason. Not sure why they're charging $206 for it out of the blue like that. Even the 245/40 is up $20 per tire, but it's still $40 less than the 255, which makes no sense.
