AMSOIL Brake Fluid ... Thoughts?

Has anyone tried out the new AMSOIL brake fluid? It seems pretty good based on the specs ...

These numbers are nice in comparison with the competition ... just under the ratings for Motul RBF 600 and just above the specs for ATE Super Blue/TYP 200.

I can get a good price on the AMSOIL fluid since I'm a preferred customer and I've been planning for new lines and fluid in the next few weeks. Should I go ahead and give it a shot?

I use the car for DD and auto-cross often. I plan on the occasional track day this year as well. I'm getting Gruppe-S lines and Hawk HP+ pads as well ...

before you go for the HP+ pads, I'd check out the 'Performance Friction Metallic Z' pads for sale @ AMS.

I switched to them because like you, I DD my car and Autocross almost every single weekend in the season. Much more bite, much less squeak.

I haven't tried the fluid yet, but I'm going to be bleeding my lines soon; AMSOIL makes some great stuff, I'd say its worth a try!

Yeah ... I use AMSOIL in my engine and am about to do a full fluid change with AMSOIL. I get good prices, so I thought I'd try it for the brakes too. Thanks for the input ... I'll look in to the pads.

I have sold the DOT 4 to a few EVO Members so far and haven't heard any complaints...

I am sure that if there was any problems with it, it would have been all over the forum.

How hydroscopic is this fluid and how often would it need to be changed. Say with mostly daily driving, some autoX, and maybe an hpde or 2.
