Can your stock rotors be cut? I never really liked Power Slot rotors. Don't know why. I believe the company is DBA(?), they makes damn good rotors. Kangaro paw design. I would get those, but they are a little pricey. I know South Coast Mitsu has a group buy for them on SocalEvo.net.

i love my DBA 4000 rotors and ferodo ds2500 pads. little squeeky but not bad. car is a daily driver back and forth to work and what not. they stop on a dime and no fade.

There seem to be several threads on aftermarket brake rotor questions. Does anyone have the knowledge to put together one of those end all threads or at least list aftermarket suppliers, especially for 2 piece rotors, i.e.
DBA, Stoptech, Baer, ...

You can also try Stoptech OEM replacement slotted rotors, made by Centric

All of them "work really good," but it depends on the pad combo you'd be running. In the case that you got hp+'s, it's worth noting that they are the worst/squeakiest pad on the market, so even if you got any 2piece rotor, you'd be wasting your money especially if you don't track the car at least twice a year. So i'd go with some cheap OEM replacements like the Stoptech Centric's like already mentioned if that's the case. If you want "work REALLY well" combo, i'd opt for at least Performance Friction Z metallics or Fed's 2500's with the same rotor. The only reason to get a slotted/2 piece beyond that is if you need the extra cooling properties.

I'm on stock lightly cut rotors w hawk hps pads. My next setup is the ferrado 2500s w dba 2 piece rotors. Not really happy w the hawk pads so if anyone wants to make an offer on some hps pads w 1200 miles on them....I haven't been able to get the initial bite of the oems. Ill sell them cheap.
