Other offsets work as well. In the latest Hyper Rev, there was a 17x9.5, +22 offset Gramlight mounted on an Evo 7. Volk lists it as a working offset for the Evo as well.

Advan has 17x9 and 17x9.5 as well - all are on ou site.

As for the tires working, its very subjective, depending on the tire itself, the amount your car is lowered, etc....too many variables for me to be able to answer.

JT - offset is relative to the exact wheel....some wheels will work in that size, but not all.

Vendors - Great information guys! Now I guess someone just has to bite the bullet and order some rims and tires. Or verify the car JT saw at the autox.

I also saw a lot of EVOs in HyperRev with +22 offsets on CE28Ns. They sure look cool with the big lips. However, all of those same cars also only run a 255 or at best a 265 tire.

I'm looking to use a 275/40/17 BFG Gforce KD and a Kuhmo V710. The car will be lowered to a point where it provides the best cornering performance on a US track (bumpy). Any vendors willing to extend a guarantee that what they sell will fit (with none or only minor rear fender modification?)
