brembos hazing?

i have an 03 evo and my brake calipers are "hazing" much like the spoiler did. but i looked closely and all 4 of them are doing the same thing. the haze also has some parts that look like air bubbles so i pushed them in and it looks like some type of clear coat or cover. has anyone else experienced this? can i just peel it off?

this is very common....the brembos have a clear coat on them that tend to peel away from normal wear and tear and weekend track abuse......there are many threads on this subject and some showing you how to restore them back to their NEW look again....

I had mine powder coated. Just got them back yesterday. Girodisc provided me with the new piston seals and dust boots. Different way but more durable I find with my brakes. Otherwise most people just pop them off, primer, paint and then clearcoat. Or if the paint is fine, light sand or scratch the old clearcoat off and re-clear. Quite a few threads on it.
