i've had wilwood 2 pc rotors for 2 years now. stock dia. on my second set of replacement rotors now. can't say anything bad about 'em. w/porterfield r4 pads, i only drive it to track days

I have yet to find any information that shows two piece rotors are better at cooling then solids. I know you do shed some weight but that is a pretty expensive price to pay for a few LBS.
I can't get myself to drop $500 on a rotor and then pay even more for the replacement disks than a decent solid would cost.

The two lowest priced 2 piece rotor sets I sourced were RB for $549 shipped and PF for $537 shipped. The thing is if they don't cool any better then I don't really want them.
I've been running the Rotor Pro solids for three years and haven't and any quality related problems. I imagine a better solid like an RB would last longer but for $200 I can abuse the crap out of them for several lapping days and toss then toss them in the garbage. I don't think the two piece will last two and a half times as long.
