I have 18x9 +29 on 265/35 Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1. The rears rubbed a lot so I had it professionally fender rolled.

I had a set of Volk CE-28's that were 18X8.5 with 245-40's on it on the same S-Tech's and I had the same rubbing issues as 20psiMR in the front only. They would rub at full lock or going in reverse. Those wheels had a +30 offset I believe.

If you can find someone to roll or shave your fenders the right way, then it would be worth in in the long run. IMO...no point in buying wide wheels if your not gonna put the right size rubber on them.

BTW....I only had rubbing issues on the rear with my 255/35's. None up front. What I did when choosing a tire was look at the specs of the OEM Advan's and try to find a replacemnt 255/35 that is the same height. Just like mentioned before, all tires companies list tires as the same size, but putting one brand 255 next to a other brand 255 they can be the same.

I found this out when I had my 04' Cobra. Putting a Nitto 315/35 Drag radial next to a 315/35 BFG drag radial you can see the night and day difference. The Nitto is actually the size of a 295.

My car wasn't slammed either....https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/at...4&d=1162873782

well... I guess I sort of thought that would be the answer. Again, any good how-tos for fender rolling than people have used? Or does anyone know what such a modification will run in a body shop?

Ya the fender rolling tool is the way to go, and you can do it yourself if you rent one. Just do a search on here about the tool. You have to use a heat gun to keep the paint from cracking, but even if it does its just the paint on the lip that your rolling anyway, its nothing you can see.

Looks like I will be rolling my fenders very soon. I wont be able to tell if they are rubbing or not since the car isnt drivable right now. I might aswell go ahead roll the fenders so I wont have any rubbing issues.
