Ugh, tell me about it. I need to pick up some new pads, I will most likely go with stock.

Brakepads...

After the stock ones wore out I went to the Ferrado DS2500's and was very impressed with them. At the time I was doing a lot of Autocrossing with the car and they always, always felt great. They did tend to leave more brake dust than the stock pads, and with gold SSR's that tended to be very noticeable. I now have just replaced the brakes and rotors, and bought a package deal that came with the Hawk HP Plus pads. ( $500.00 including stainless lines and slotted and dimpled rotors ) I haven't had a chance to put the stainless lines on, but so far the pads have not impressed me. ( Now with over 2000 miles on them )
Sure they stop the car, but the overall feel of the pedal has changed. Before with the DS2500's you could modulate the brakes to an absolute micron, here with the Hawks, it just feels wooden....Price wise you cannot beat the setup and for regular street driving they are fine, but anything more I would definately recommend the Ferrado's. The Ferrados lasted about 30,000 miles give or take. Stock ones 24,000 miles.
Hope this is helpfull,
Good Luck.

Great peddle pressure very responsive and pull the car up like nothing else I've used.
