ATTN: All newer Zeal coilover owners, I have questions
Hi guys,
I'm having some difficulty with my Super Function A coilovers, and I need some clarification. Let me expain:
The Super Function series comes with JUN or Normal Brackets. One of them gives insane amounts of camber, the other doesn't.
I have the wrong brackets. Basically they give my car between -3 to -7 degrees camber (too much, eccentric bolt is positive side), AND the tire (255/40/17) does not clear the coilover. Running OEM 17x8 +38 Enkeis.
Endless is telling me that the normal brackets are the ones I have, and the JUN ones are described as "the upper bolt hole protrudes further out." However, that sounds to give MORE wheel clearance and LESS camber (which is what I want).
They also tell me that all of their coilovers require aftermarket wheels. Instead for me, I have to run +10mm spacers up front, or staggered offset (+15f/+35r (17x9)).
Please tell me:
1. What coilover you are running?
2. Does your OEM wheels clear?
3. What wheel sizexwidth +offset are you running AND do you have ample clearance?
4. Does the tire rub against the coilover?
I think I am one of the few owners of this coilover and I need some clarification.
endless is telling me i got a pair of the "regular" brackets, and the JUN ones allow for more camber. I'm convinced that I have 2 pairs of JUN, but either way, they're not fitting.
Does anyone have any pictures they can take for me of their coilovers?
These are my "regular"brackets. Notice how close the upper hole is to the perch? makes the wheel hit the coilover. i am convinced that these are the JUN brackets still.

yes, i have the super function a. i'm finding myself having to run around +10 spacers up front to run the same offset as you guys.
does anyone else have this problem? does anyone else own the super function coilovers?

Hello everyone, I have a new update. I'm finding believing Endless is difficult as they have changed their story several times to cover themselves up. Long story, be prepared.
So I ordered the normal brackets thru 500whp. Jeffrey was extremely helpful and amazingly, my order was very fast. When I came to pick them up, I opened them and was shocked to realize, they looked exactly like the JUN brackets I had before! I explained my concern to Jeffrey, but he assured me they were normal. I also contacted Endless, who confirmed they were normal. I also took pictures (see links above) and sent them to let them know, they looked exactly the same.
So I try them on, and voila, they are the exact same bracket. No camber change, no wheel clearance change, nothing. I come directly to Endless and ask them to solve my problem. They change their story and say: Those are the normal brackets, and thus we gave you normal brackets initially! Ok, so I asked for the JUN brackets in exchange for the brackets that were supposed to be JUN.
Ok, realize that everytime I place an order, it takes around a month to receive since they have to be made and shipped over from Japan. So a month later, the JUN brackets arrive. I come in to pick them up, and when I open them, I see they look exactly like the same brackets I had previously. Ok, somethings up. Luckily they had the previous "normal" brackets and compared them. Like I said, they are the same. Exact same measurements. The upper and lower perch holes are offset by 5mm, thus giving more negative camber to the wheel, and causing clearance issues to the wheel. They say at that shop, that I received 3 JUN brackets, very strange. So they will further investigate.
Few days later, they contacted me back, saying that the the normal and JUN brackets are the same. This is very frustrating as now this doesn't solve my clearance issue, and I feel like they just changed their story again to suit their needs. From CharlieG's perspective, it seems like there are correct brackets out there. I have heard one story out there that there was someone who had this same problem and solved it by getting the correct zeal brackets.
I would kill for some pictures or further knowledge about these since I'm only getting the runaround.

also, sorry to steal invision evo's picture, but he took a picture of the function x coils, which look almost exactly the same brackets are the super function a's, but they may be further away from the perch. last time i measured, mine were 1" and 1.25" top and bottom holes respectively. the material length, not the centerline of the hole.

so new update,
kent from endless has been helping me tirelessly trying to figure out why these brackets don't fit. if anyone doesn't know, kent is the president of endless and has been communicating with me often and directly.
altho i'm having difficulty with their product, their customer service definitely makes up for it. we've probably sent about 30+ e-mails between one another since april.
most companies would have said tough **** and left, but i'm quite surprised they're sticking to it.
