Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 (owners please chime in)

Im looking to pick up the Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 sport tires soon and im torn between which size to get. The tires will mounted on stock Evo 9 BBS wheels. The car is daily driven and while be seeing weekend auto-x events as well as occasional trips to the track. Which size do you think would be better between a 245/40/17 or a 255/40/17? Thank you in advance for any info.

i ordered the z1 stars in 245/45/17's
they will be here monday

I made my choice based on the fact that my old 255's Azenis were just to wide for the stock rims..
i think the taller sidewalls will raise the mph per gear a little too

I've had the Z1s for a while now. Absolutely LOVE them. Great dry and wet traction! I auto cross, road race, drag race, and DD my Evo and they hold up VERY well. Great tire in my opinion. I have them in 255/40-17 on a 9" wheel.

Are they the regular Direzza's or the Star Specs? How much for 255/40/17 shipped to 60651?

They're just regular Direzza Z1s. By far my favorite tire for the price so far.
