Roll center kit will help you out for sure. So you asked Robi about the shims then?

I'm sure it will help but I'm gonna run it without at the May 24th Blackhawk event first. (I can't make the AMS AB event. I'll be in Thailand for reserve annual training)

I'll have the car on the scales this week and post up how it balances out. Here is one we did last week. This is the EVO8 that now has my coil overs.

I'm very curious to see how a spring'd car will balance right out of the box. Initially we set this evo up with frame to ground measurements which was nearly dead on the money.

We also checked a stock Audi TT and it was only .4 LBS from being balanced.

Okay... finally got nice enough weather to toss my springed EVO on the scales.

First without driver last with driver....

No balancing of any kind performed.... just put on the scales to see where it landed. This is with 2/3 tank of fuel.

I'm just wondering what the difference is, if any, between the Bilstein HD's and the MR Bilsteins. Are the HD's slightly stiffer?

I just bought an '06 IX SE and am trying to figue out my mods and I'm pretty set on the Swifts. Do I REALLY need to swap out my OEM shocks/struts?

^ I would keep the stock KYBs and get whatever springs you want.

The Bilsteins aren't worth the price unless you are replacing a set of junk struts and are forced to pay for something new.
