rims w/o center caps

rims w/o center caps

Im running Rota torque on my car right now, just recently i found out im getting rust in the center area because im not running the center cap with the rims. The center cap that came with it didnt fit so is this a bad thing?

i think hub rust is unavoidable...every car that i've worked on has rust on the hub...normal if you ask me

if you want the center caps, just call rota up or ebay them

spray with lithium grease.

my current evo is just over a year old, and already there is some surface rust on the hub.

i think it's just a matter of all the heating and cooling from the brakes, and driving in northeast weather.

+2 mine have a little rust and it sees 300 days of sun a year... (and i have the center caps on my wheels...)

Just over a year with my car, most of the time was spent in SoCal and some minor hub rust is there. Seems pretty unavoidable.

After installing Work Emo's, I sprayed my spindles flat black. very clean and functional.

^ Just did that yesterday on my emotions. Looks much better. Still have not found a center cap that will fit an emotion. Any help would be great

You can also spread naval jelly on the rotors/hub to get the rust off.

i don't think center caps would really help all that much.
