Just Installed KW Variant 3's and..

Well I believe I did everything right but the ride height is at least 1-3 inchest higher than STOCK ride height...I did as low on the rear spring perches as possible without running into the upper control arms... Whats up? Please somebody tell me this is not how these are supposed to sit, because its WAYYYY too ****ing high.

Perhaps you should contact RobiSpec or another place that might help set them up properly.

Setting up coilovers isn't necessary a fast or easy do-it-yourself job. That's the lesson I've been learning. Good thing you have access to Robi.

yea man, jack the car up , pull off the wheels, and lower the perches w/ them on the car. The way my Bilstein coilovers came were nowhere near what I wanted them at.

Do you have the spanner wrenches? Unlock the two discs @ the bottom, and spin them downward (I believe its clockwise). Keep trying. You don't have to have a ride height like that at all, but I have no idea if KW's are SUPPOSED to be that height. You can do this while the unit is on the car, as long as the car is in the air.

Did you adjust the height from the spring perch or shock body? If you adjusted height with the spring perch than its set up wrong.

Could you show me exactly where I should be adjusting it by..? I did it like the install manual said, but just want to be sure. I want it AS LOW AS POSSIBLE. Like NO wheel gap. Im afraid I may have made a big mistake with the KW coilovers...I bet Robi will be able to fix somethin up for me though..

LOL. This is installer error and nothing else. Believe me, you didn't make the wrong choice. Sure you didn't accidentally put the fronts on the back and vice-versa?

I installed them as correctly as could be installed without serious modification, the coilovers designed to fit the damn evo dont even fit in the rear with the upper control arm in place, I dont understand.
