A friend of mine has the opportunity to get a great deal on a set of wheels locally that are the following
Front: 19"x8" +30mm offset
Rear: 19"x8.5" +33mm offset

I know that you're supposed to keep the same size/model tire at all four corners. Would it be ok for him to run these wheels with the same tire size all around? Would they even fit? Car is stock ride height.

 

They will fit, but you will want to keep the same size tires on both the fronts and rears.

Those specs sound very close to G35 OEM wheels. If they are, the bolt pattern will be the same but the centerbore hub is too small and will not sit flush on your hub.

 

Exactly what they are lol. He saw them first so he has first dibs for his Evo, if they are a no go, they will be going on my 300zx . Yeah keeping the same tire size all around, think they would be ok?

 

I WOULDNT MESS WITH 19'S man... its going to look fugly, and staggered i wouldnt even think about it...

 

I've seen plenty of Evos on 19s. I think they will look good on his ride. It's only a 1/2" difference and we were figuring that if the tires were the same, everything should be all good..
