i have them on my car right now 255/35/18. i had rubbing compared to my t1r in the same size but either way these tires are AMAZING

So I finally got a race in with the Z1 Star Specs on and I am very happy with them. Over the course of 8 runs in close to 100 degree weather, they were very consistent. I was just blown away by how much traction I had on the first few runs and definitely knew I wasn't pushing the tires to their limit. I consistently got faster with each run and by the 8th run, my confidence in the tires were sky high. I was able to knock a full second off that last run!

I have about 10 autocross events on them and about 2-3k street/hwy miles including rain (they are surprisingly good in the rain too!). I love them.

just did my first autocross on the star specs and they were great, i'll totally vouch for them. i went with 235s and i'm lowered, but if you are running stu in autocross you can only go 245. i ran 35psi (recommended by another evo owner on the same tires) today and i'm truly impressed.

btw, what the difference in tread compound amounts to is better initial cold grip.

I can't wait to get them. They're on back order at the moment so I'm waiting as patiently as possible. Can't wait to get the new setup on the car
