Direction of cross-drilled and slotted rotors

Does anyone know if there is a specific way the grooves should be when installing cross-drilled and slotted rotors?

yes there is a right and left rotor when using slotted rotors. Instructions should have come with the new rotors or look on the box it should say whether it is for right or left side.

Well if they are one piece rotors then they are going to be a pillar vane so the direction of the slots or drills dosen't matter. However if they have a curved vane design the curves need to be falling away and the slots are most likely crossing the vanes so the slots would cut into the caliper.
