HELP!!! Rota D2 vs. SSR Professor SP1 vs. WORK Meister S1
whats going on yall. i love the design of this wheel but i cant figure out which brand to buy. I havent personally seen these wheels on an evo but i have seen them in person on a 350z. what i liked about them is that they didnt "bow out" and they had some sort of a lip. Ive found some pics of the Rotas on an evo and they appeared to "bow out". i also found a pic of the SSR's on an evo but i couldnt tell if they "bowed out" or "sunk in wards" with a lip. im afraid that they look i want may only be for low offset wheels found on RWD cars. Also im positive that the Rota's are the knock offs, but who made the wheel first? was it WORK or SSR? pics below

the work and ssr's are similar wheels but also different. the meister's spokes are slightly fatter. So I wouldn't say they are the same wheel. I don't think it matters which came out first since they are somewhat different. imo, the ssr's look the sexiest.

My main concern is more of the "concave" vs the "bowed out" look.
i know the Rota's "bow out" as evidenced by the pics above. im just not sure if the SSR's or WORK's do? i guess what i should be asking is, does anyone have a side profile of an evo with the SSR's or WORK's? if so, can you post the wheel width and offset too?

The professors are not light at ALL. I have 18x9 +31 on my car now.. and they each weigh 24lbs.. but i dotn care aobut light wheels. they are baller as hell.. If you have a SP1 and a rota d2 side by side 10-10 people will pick out the ssr.. the detail is amazing and sorry to say btu the D2 just looks VERY cheap up close. The Work Meister also looks almost exactly like the SSR but does cost more... Both wheels are awesome...the spokes on the SP1 do bulk out pretty well.. here is some pics of my car

^^^that looks hot. man i wish i had bought a black evo instead. btw, would you happen to have any pics of your car as if you were standing/kneeling behind it looking forward without the wheels being turned? i wanna see just how much they flare out on our cars. thanks again

I dont think Rota should ever be put in the same sentence with SSR and Work Wheels. Rota is whack straight up. But that is just my honest opinion. You are better off with SSR or Work Wheels. I agree with the comment above. ^^^^^ SSR wheels are baller as hell. Just add more horsepower to make up for the weight.

no offense, but without a crazy offset like +5 or Zero these wheels always just look TOO flush for me.. kinda bulging out in the middle of the wheel..
And to compare the 3 you are talking big price differences.. cheapest being rotas like $900 then SSR's being like $1400 ? and the big dogs being like $3600-4000 for the nice 3 piece ones.. ( i know you wanted the 1 piece though)
