the shims are attached to the pads...I didn't mean they don't exist

but they do not require greasing

I just bought the ET-500's for autocross/street mix, so the 300's may fit your bill.
Thanks, I really like the thought of these, also considering the ones Turninconcepts mentioned.

Can you link me to the $185 shipped?

Bump. I'm in the same situation right now too, i'm just looking for some replacement pads for the stock ones for daily driving and the occasional spirited drives :P The brake dust i'm willing to handle but i definitely don't want to sound like a school bus every time i slow down in traffic on my way to work.

To the OP: Which did you end up going with and how do you like them?

Go to autozone and buy their pads. $60 and they are better than the stock brembo pads.

I will also pitch the Racing Brake Pads. I have used all their different compounds on my car in the T.T. and the AX. If you don't want much dust and very low noise (if any) try the 500's and they will not kill the rotors either. PM me for the prices. Pete

I prefer the Ferodo DS 2500's, BUT I'm hearing great things about the Girodisc Magic pads. I will try those next. Girodisc is selling them for $150 shipped front and rear right now.

I'm running RacingBrake ET500 pads. I've previously used Hawk HPS and Performance Friction Metallic Z pads. The ET500 require a few more stops before they're at operating temperature than the others but they've been fine for me while doing some aggressive stops on the street. I'd recommend them over the HPS if you want more bite but don't want an increase in dusting.

What are your guys' opinions on the Endless Vita Nuovas? I am thinking if I should pick them up, or should I go with the B-forces or even Girodisc Magic?

Also, my back right pad is bad and it sounds horrible on the rotor (started yesterday), the outside of the rotor is starting to wear hard (outer 5mm or so), would it be wise to replace the rotor as well, or will it be corrected after the new pads are put to use?

I do some spirited driving, canyons etc., but I have the HAWK Blue's for track days.

Thanks,

-Will

Heard about Raybestos ceramic brake pads from a friend who confirmed much less dust, very good stopping power, no need for warm-up and virtually no fade.
