235/40/17 tires on stock rims
i was given a set of these.
how would these affect my daily driving?

i know it would mess up the speedometer by like 3.7%
would this mess up my odometer reading as well?
how about gearing?

Many have used that size in the past, they work fine. Load is ok but they are an inch diff in diameter vs. oe size. Speedo will be off about 4mph at 60mph.

Speedometer and odometer will both be off to the same degree. Gearing will be shorter. Also, the smaller diameter will result in a bigger wheel gap.
