I am planning to buy some 18x8 inch wheels for my EVO and the available offset for this particular wheel is 35 or 45, which of these two offset would fit the best? The tire size I want to have on it is 235/40/18's. Please help.

 

I don't think anyone can answear your question, because all depends on Wheels !! even with the same off set, some wheel will fit and others will not fit, for our EVO have the Brembo brake need to clear !! most cheap wheel will not fit , because they are for cars with nomal brake caliper, the best way is to test fit, don't use the wheel spacer to clear the caliper !!

You can get 18 x 8.5 Volk Racing LE28Ns with a 30+ offset.

 

To be very general... I would say look for an offset of between +30 - +35 for a 18x 8.5
