I am not showing an application for the H&R springs on the EVOVIII. Thus, I would not take the risk in tearing down the car to only find they wont work.

Call H&R, "Rodger" said 6-8 weeks should be ready. He did not answer my question if the Evo7's would work on the Evo8's, he only said that they were in devolopment. So guess that means another couple months.......................

I also am wondering wich I should choose for my Evo H&R or Eibach or TEIN. I have just started to do a little Autox so not sure if I will go with just springs or the TEIN reflex strut Spring combo. But they are pricey but the Ralliart ones are even more. I just wish I could make up my mind if anyone has put any of the above mentioned suspension mods please let us know how you like them.

Yes, Evo 7 springs work just fine - Eibach is an evo 7 unit as well.

We have the Tein S techs coming in any day now though, for the Us spec Evo 8 - a bit more compliant all around with modest spring rates, and a bit more lwoering up front to get rid of the unsightly front gap!

What are the specs for the Tein? Are they like the H&R's, (1.4 front) (1.3rear) $ 329.00 Kit. And how much?

2.0 inch drop in front, .9 in rear, priced at $185 a set.

YES! That's what I'm looking for. It will give the Evo a more level look with close to equal wheel gap. What are the spring rates though? If they are only good for looks I wouldn't want them. I also wish it was more like 1.5" front, .5" rear. 2.0" is a pretty considerable drop. I'd love to see some pics and more details on them..and how they compare to other springs.

Adam, can you PM me when you get these in...? I'm not happy with the uneven drop from the Eibach's anymore...

there nice for people that drive on ****ty roads, but that extra gap in the front just bugs the crap outta me...

Yep, the Tanabe springs seem to give the best look. Now I just need to find them for a good price. I'm sure a few vendors from this forum can help

by theway that tein kit will cost some big bucks and cause some major premature wear on the struts....and possibly a alighment issue...the tannabe is 189 and is 1.5 front and .5 rear.....not too harsh on the struts ......also it wont have that much of a alighment issue.....remember the lower u go on stock struts the less travel the struts have... so by hitting a major pot hole or bump with less travel its alot easier to blow the shock or actually cause som major damages to the suspension ...going lower than 1.5 on stock struts on these cars is pushing it ...dont pass the 1.5 drop......for a dail driver......thats just my advice
