Need help to find right tires at right price

Hi guys, I'm looking to buy new tires that wont cost very much and would fit my stock wheels (enkei evo IX). Falken Azenis RT615 were the one I was looking at but they seem to wear too quickly. Is it worth buying from the internet and taking it to the shop for install? Could this be cost effective. Any experiences? Where is a good place to buy?

Thanks in advance.

Wheeldude recommended the Falken 452's to me and they are < $100 in Evo 8 sizes from edgeracing.com

Also, the 912's are supposed to be really good too.

http://www.edgeracing.com/2005/Mitsu...tion/tires/17/

I've ordered tires from there in the past and recommend them.

I pulled the plug and ordered falken 912 for $406 including shipping from vulcantire.com, not bad. Its an all season tire thou, but its the best deal I could find and these tires have very good reviews....

Great bang/buck extreme summer tire would be Sumitomo's HTR Z-3. Another popular one is General's Exclaim UHP. Both are under $100 per tire right now.

I'd say, stay away from the General Exclaim UHP - it has good thread wear rating but it's sidewalls are much too soft. You'll lose the essence of your evo after you install those tires.

Snag the Yokohama YK520's instead which I'm running now is *MUCH* much bettter - I got my local america's tire to match their online store (discounttiredirect.com).
