What Is Largest Size 18" Tire I can fit on Evo 8 ??
I'm running 17" wheels with 255 series tires on my Evo 8, right now.
I am upgrading to 18" wheels.
I also plan to roll the fenders.
What is the "largest" width 18" tire I can fit on the Evo 8???
Wheels are Enkei NT03+M 18x9.5" size.
Thanks

285/30R18 on 18x9.5 or 18x10 rims. There's a big thread on here about how to fit them. You have to roll the crap out of the rear fenders and run camber plates with around 3 degrees of camber up front. They scrub on the liners and you may have to hammer a body seam flat on one side.

If you have it, can you post a link?
Thanks

Intesting thread.
Similar to my situation with the 18x9.5 Enkei NT03+M and 285/30/18 tires.
Anyone know if I will need any spacers and studs, and what size?

Different brand tires wrap differently and some cars are set up different so some people will have to hammer and cut more than others...
I'm running a (narrow brand/style for this size) 275/35/18 Dunlop Dz101 Dirreza on 18/9.5 35mm zigens and I have NO rub issues and i'm 00.00 camber all around for commuting! I lied: I do rub at full lock at weird angles in parking lots on my Ralliarmour mudflaps but thats it.
Lowered w/ Works drop springs about a finger between tire/fender out back and 2 fingers up front.
285/30's are next on my agenda .......
I work at Discount tire so I will test fit a few before I make my mind up this week. Im going for treadwear 300-500 all season Michelin Pilot A/S plus w/45k mile warranty(maybee)
Obviously i'm not a slammed, cambered, slicks(wide wrap) setup either.
00.00 camber commuter, HALFWAY rolled out back, no rub on 275/35's.....will be trying on a pair of 285/30's soon just to see and also a different 275/35....I might go with a different 275/35 that wraps wider

Yes, I do. I run 285/30/18's.
But read the entire thread that GTLocke13 posted first- it will provide you with more specific questions to ask than "Does anyone have any first hand experience" - as you'll need detailed info on fender rolling, wheel studs, etc.
If you need very specific detailed info, you can PM myself... "Kekek", and "EVOlutionary"... along with quite a few others on here.
