Advan RS 18x9 +29 with swift springs Fit?! Evo IX

Do Advan RS 18x9 +29 on swift springs Fit on the evo IX without modifications? What size tires would i need?

235/40 , 255/35, or 245/40
what size tire would you choose and why?

I have 245/40/18 Dunlop Star Specs, had to roll the rears. Rubbed some of the fender liner up front off as well...Only rubs up front at wheel lock and when you hit a big enough dip in the road at higher speeds.

i have 18x9 RS with +29 runnin 255/35/18 on tein flex coilovers.had to raise the rear a tad bit...but it was lower than the swifts do...so, you shouldnt have a prob...gl and good choice in wheels ^_^

yea i was told by a few vendors if you run a 255/35/18 with swifts you shouldnt rub at all with a 18x9+29 RS

not all 255/35/18s are created equal.

some 255s are narrow than other brands.

But whatever the reason, i'd still roll the rear fenders just to be safe.

Don't be afraid of rolling your fenders. Don't let it deter you from rollin' in style!

Agreed!!! I know people running 245/40/18 Falken RT-615s with the same wheels and springs and they don't rub at all. I've been told the 245 Star Specs are just as wide as 255 RT-615's.
