Alignment Question

I just bought some 18x9.5+22 wheels for my evo ix. My old setup was 18x8.5+31 and I am lowered on Megan coils. So my question is do I need another alignment after I put on the new wheels? I asked this because I had an alignment not too long ago. Thansk.

Generally an alignment isn't affected by changing wheels. Alignment angles are set by the suspension, not the wheel. The caveat is that if you change the offset by a significant amount, the change in moment on the suspension arms could change the alignment a small amount due to changes in compression on the suspension bushings. Going from a +31 to a +22 shouldn't affect it appreciably.
