Brade Pads
#31
I'd like to hear if anyone has any actual negative experience with these. There is a thread reviewing them:

No one in that thread had any negative personal experience with them, so I'd be interested to hear anyone that actually has or would recommend against them.

Those pads work but some will always hate because it's not X-Y-or-Z brand. If you really can't stand getting Duralast branded pads, then then go grab SmikeEvo's recommended pads at Amazon.com - much cheaper (GS6-D1001 for the fronts @ 57$, and GSS-D961 for the rears @ 41$ w/ free shipping). It says temporarily out of stock but I believe it gets drop-shipped. The price is definitely worth the wait especially if you don't need pads right this moment.

Make sure you buy oem shims or get a razor and try to cut them off. I could not get my oem shims off and I got squeal like a ****. I ended up using brake quiet spray and that helped so far knock on wood. In retro spec i'd recommend picking up a set of shims before installing pads.
