Wow....red flags being thrown up all over the place! The reason you need new struts is because those Tein springs were cheap and poorly designed. Too low and too soft.

I think it would be in your car's best interest not to go down the same path twice. Do your research and find a good solution that will last a long time, perform well, and ride well. Bilstein HD struts with Swift Sport springs is a good solution if you want a simple set-up that improves handling, lasts, and has a nice drop.

lol, i guess he should ask someone to specify how they perform. d.d., auto-x, hpde, roadracing, etc...

i due wonder how these and similar coilovers would perform with a non-aggressive daily driver.

Every time a colleague inquires about coilovers he receives information about springs and shocks, more specifically Swift springs and Bilstein shocks.

I believe the added value of these forums is to provide information related to the question. There are many of us who like lowered suspensions and what we would like to read is how to lower the car appropriately, for competition or just plain fun. So let's make it a point to discuss the question and contribute the best of our knowledge to assist others with their initiative and at the same time promote research and further learning about EVO suspension

So recommending a better set of springs/struts is not far fetched.

Honestly, if its cheap, entry-levels, look at the Megans - where we know about them (and I ran those too).

If you don't want any fuss with weather, changing settings struts/springs are a great fit too.

that is true but it would be nice to have some pro's test out some of the less and never used coilovers and springs, but he is right that everytime there is a suspension question all i hear is swift/bilstein setup, lol. which is a great setup and if i were you i'd be putting that out there too.

an example would be B&G RS2 coilovers. they're decent priced $1,500-1,600 i believe. i've been trying to find anyne who has used these before with no luck. It just sucks having to be a guinea pig with product i guess.

do you think you could post up some real good suspension forums that you may have found over the years? i would like to do some in depth reading
