Holy thread stealing Batman! Was it the S.Drive that replaced the ES100? I do 99% daily driving and do a lot of miles and drive in the rain quite often, no sleet/snow. With these conditions and staying around the $100-$150 mark, the S.Drive sounds the most feasible.

The S-Drive did replace the ES100 in almost all sizes. They are a great improvement over the ES across the board from what we've seen. Handfull of EVO owners out there with them and are quite happy. Not as much grip as the oe Yoko, but better ride, life, and quieter. Great tire for an every day car that gets pushed on the street.

I put 5 sets of of S.Drives on my friends Evos and they are awesome tires.
The sidewalls are a little soft, just put some more air in them and you'll be good. I put 20k on mine and they still looked awesome. Rain traction was a little on the weak side but WAAAAYYY better then stock besides you shouldn't be driving fast in the rain anyway.
I also had these tires in 4 inches of snow and was impressed for a high performance street tire.

S Drives
I am getting a set of 265/35/18 S Drives put on for everyday driving tomorrow.
They are going on a set of Volk RE28s & a car Albert has making about 330 WHP on a stock turbo & a tuning tech exhaust modified to be stealthy.
(I use my 06 MR for a work car & need to be able to hear the phone/ not sound like a school kid when I pull up to a clients house)
So in a week or so I will be able to give decent feedback on noise. If my NT05's dont get in soon I might even have some track feedback on em.

i'm also considering the yoko s drives to replace my OE yoko's. i dont auto X or anything yet it's mostly a daily driver. it does see some 1/4 times here and there but mostly spirited daily driving. i would love to get the dunlops but i'm also consider mileage and for the price of 116ea on tirerack it saves me a little extra cash then the dunlops. i'm interested to see/hear peoples experiences with them.
