EVO 8 swift springs Squeaking
Hey guys My evo 8 front passenger side spring is squeaking. It just started this morning. It squeaks when driving down the road. Once I arrived at work. I got out and pushed down on the culprit and low and behold it squeaks. Im hoping a good wash down of the spring will cure this.
I didn't run over any big pot holes with the car.
Im expecting the worst. I am rocking basic swift springs with billsteins. Maybe i'll be need a rebuild kit for the strut hat???
LMK what you guys think.

From: somewhere testing various tires, brakes, and suspensions.
Check to make sure the perches and spring are all aligned right. I have never heard of this. So when you push down it makes a noise? Could be dust/dirt built up and trapped between the perch and spring. Are you in a winter area with a lot of salt/sand?

Maybe im being a bit paranoid. I'll head down to the local car wash hole and spray them off and see if the noise continues.
ill keep you guys posted.
The only thing I can think of besides roadcrap/salt is maybe the little bushings that slide into the top and all the way down to the bump stop.
