Upgrading rotors from Ebc to racing brake slotted? A

I wanted to upgrade my front rotors with racing brake slotted rotors? Are they good rotors or should I consider different rotors? Also what pads would go perfectly with this setup?

The racing brake rotors are 290,but I don't know how long they will last and I'm using them for the street.
