(Max) tire size Advan RGII 18*9 +29 on Evo IX

the max tire size is 265/35/18 and this size has exactly the same diameter with the stock 235/45/17 size. 255/35/18 are same diameter as 225/45/47 or ca 1,2% smaller than stock.
You won't need any spacers with your Advan.
At the rear with -1,5 camber FK452's and bit of luck, they could fit without fender rolling as these tires are 10.1" wide (=25,65 cm).
My 255/40/17 Michelin Cup's are 10.7" wide (=27,17cm) and they didn't fit so I rolled fenders.
265/35/18 FK452's are also 10.7" wide.
I hope u did not pay more than 430 EUR incl. shipping to Finland !!!
I wish u a lot of fun with ur evo. Finland rocks

Thanks a lot for this input. I just have to keep my fingers crossed that they will fit. Or then I'll just roll the fenders, maybe not that big a deal anyway.
I did pay just a bit more than that for the tires, still under 500 EUR though. Ordered them from the UK as prices here were +700 EUR so still a nice saving
Cheers

hey congrats!!
I'm planning to get exactly the same rims soon and was worried about rubbing issues too lolz
I think i'll stick to 235/40/18s though just to be safe since I dont wanna be running too much camber, nor do i wanna do any fender work!!
and since its a daily, I want a comfy ride lolz
Keep us up to date when you get the teins monoflex since i've actually got those sitting in the garage waiting to be put on hahaha

My issue isn't the money it'll cost to shave the guards, but more the issue that I dont want to
Is the only reason why you guys aren't recommending the 235 tires because it'll look retarded?? Anyone got a picture so I can see?
